2022 Annual IART Conference (Non-Member)
The 2022 IART Annual Conference: The Core of Regenerative Medicine is now open for registration to attend. This conference will focus on prolotherapy injection treatments for upper and lower extremity, as well as cervical and lumbo-sacral spine injuries.
This conference is focused on the use of prolotherapy treatments for MSK pain and its role in helping patients heal. IART has a long history in prolotherapy, stemming from the roots of the “Hackett Hemwell Patterson Foundation.” For years, under HHFP, this conference was held in Madison, WI with great attendance and learning opportunities.
This event will include prolotherapy and perineural injection treatment centered in evidence-based knowledge and the application of those principles and techniques. This event will feature some of the top regenerative doctors providing didactic and live treatment education and training.
Some highlights and FAQs to take notice of:
Pre-Conference Perineural Injections and ESWT training with Dr. Liza Smigel and Dr. Joel Baumgartner
Each will have four hours of instruction and demonstration on their topics
This is an extra fee but comes with great instruction
Thursday is a full day of didactics and demonstrations with some of the leaders in prolotherapy and pain treatments
We will be addressing treatments for upper and lower extremity and spine
Sessions will consist of didactics and live model demonstration
Friday will consist of hands-on workshops including U/S and cadaver labs
Attendees will be split into three groups and rotate through three different sessions
Each session will allow hands on training for the attendees to hone their skills
Saturday has two different parts of lectures and optional additional training
Morning sessions are open to all and will include topics on prolotherapy, biologics and how to maximize their effectiveness
Afternoon sessions provide special opportunity for more one-on-one training. They are optional and come with additional cost
Two different sessions will be offered: 2pm – 4pm & 4pm -6pm
The same 3 topics will be offered for each session 1 and 2, so pick two different topics for maximum education

Evening socials will be Thursday and Friday
Thursday will be a sit-down dinner and ceremony, which is free to all attendees (details to come)
